Singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh, who recently created history by performing at Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, was left all surprised by an unverified tweet claiming he went on a dinner date with American pop star Taylor Swift. A website report claimed that the Punjabi actor was seen dining with Taylor at a restaurant in Vancouver, Canada, and that he got touchy. The report added the two dined together at Cactus Club Cafe Coal Harbor on Monday night and they were laughing and being “touch touch.”

Now, Diljit has reacted to it and his savage reply leaves netizens and fans in splits. Known for his great sense of humour, the Udta Punjab star replied in his inimitable style. He wrote in Punjabi, “Yaar Privacy Naam Di v Koi Cheez Hundi Aa (there is something called privacy).” His reply has left the internet wondering if the singer has indeed gone on a dinner with Taylor Swift. Reacting to his answer, one user commented, “Diljit Dosanjh and Taylor Swift!!?? A ship I never knew existed ..but I want it to sail.” Another said, “Diljit wants Kylie Jenner.”



Meanwhile, Diljit Dosanjh has become the first Punjabi singer to perform at the Coachella which was held in April this year in Indio, California. He took the stage by storm as he represented his Punjabi culture by wearing a black kurta paired with tamba, a black turban, and stylish sunglasses. Work-wise, The Honsla Rakh star is gearing up for the release of his next film Chamkila, which tells the true story of Amar Singh Chamkila, the legendary rockstar from Punjab who rose to fame in the 1980s with his powerful music. The movie has been directed by Imtiaz Ali and stars Parineeti Chopra as the female lead. The trailer of the film was released on 30th May where Diljit was seen without turban for the first time.
